Turtle Beach and PDP Afterglow

Okay then.

For Informative purposes, I'll do some research by examining their terms and performing a few SE practice runs. The objective Is to Identify the questions asked, how they expect to be answered and obviously solidify the weakest link In their human firewall.

Hey, could you send me some Serial Numbers too? I want to try SE too

Yep. PDP is easy if you actually have the product and Turtle Beach you will most likely need to box, but the serial number does not determine when it's bought for TB.

With Afterglow you need handwritten case number, product, and Amazon PoP in the same picture. But you always get AR. They don't ask for a serial number, and you never get asked for the product (they essentially take the loss) They probably rival Logitech in easiness. I'd say get the product somehow, do the SE, then return it later.

With Turtle Beach I did a partial SE since their products are actual shit.. I essentially did a replacement outside of warranty because of that dumbass serial number thing, actually retarded as hell man. Got a free upgrade too since my headset was discontinued.

Appreciate the aforementioned details.

I'll take this on board and combine It with my findings.

Lmao well guess I'm not getting a headset. It's been a week with no confirmation email so I called them up and they said the request made by the previous rep was denied because they believe that she didn't exhaust every troubleshooting step (lol?) And when he tried to ask for an approval it was denied again because the serial you gave ended up being on a different account too. And then he hit me with the "You need to send pictures w/ serial no. and case number."

I know, this whole SE could still be done this way or I can restart, but honestly I don't care since I already have my Stealth 700's.. so even if I could get lucky who gives a fuck about getting a worse pair of headphones? Just wanted to try something new. Logitech is still fairly easy though. I could actually get the product itself and return it later, then it would be easy as hell either way.

This Is ridiculous and quite frankly embarrassing on their end, by way of admitting fault with poor customer service:

Quote:the request made by the previous rep was denied because they believe that she didn't exhaust every troubleshooting step

I agree you can take this further and In fact succeed, but ultimately It's your call. Either way, It's a good learning curve that'll help with subsequent SE's.

Yeah I know-- I could try to Photoshop the picture or make a big stink about the situation since they already basically tried to authorize a replacement. Hell, I could've told him I already threw it away since the replacement was supposedly "submitted" a week ago, and she told me specifically that I wouldn't need to return it. But I hung up the phone and wanted to shoot myself for wasting 20 more minutes on the phone. Maybe I'll try again with another product of their's that's actually worth getting.

Well, they did authorize the replacement but decided to overturn their decision.

In addition to everything mentioned, you could also use the good old corrupted Image. I'd say It's best to leave It be and start clean with another Item.

True. Might as well go the easy route and make sure I get the approval over the phone next time. I just don't care much about pursuing this any further.
