Desk PC - That's Right.. PC in a DESK - diydeskpc - 12-11-2018

My son and I made one and are getting ready to make another. We’ve gotten sort of addicted to it. There is no limits to the possibilities except your imagination and, well, your wallet. We made our first one with plywood but the new one is going to be cabinet grade birch.

My #1 tip would be not to buy the glass top first then try to build the desk around it. It is just too problematic. Build the desk then custom order the glass to the exact specifications of your build. You will be much happier with the end result and it’ll save you a ton of frustration.

We wanted to do a custom loop but at the time GPU prices were through the roof. My son really wanted the UV reactivate fluid though to go with his Biohazard theme so we just ran a loop with pump and reservoirs just for the looks. When we do the new build we are going to do a full liquid cooling loop.
