Guys, I decided to not use the serial number method as it's too long-winded and the margin for error is very low. What do you think about me ordering one from a retailer, and telling them they sent the wrong item, and put my current ps4 in and returning that?

So long as the weight is similar it can for sure work! Alternatively, DNA can also work and you get to keep both! Goodluck and keep us updated on any developments.

Larger companies yes and if it does work in the end just say that you put in the wrong one.
