Yup, normally they want a vid I said that it wasn't functional now I need something so I don't have to send them the box. Would you think the not even sending the box thing would work? Even though it is prepaid. @mothered

They're under the Impression that you still have the Item, so It's expected to be returned.
Due to It's non-functional state, tell them you had no use for It and threw It out. To soften the blow a little (and get them on your side), also say that you believe It may still be In the trash of your apartment's waste collection and you'll do your utmost best to find It.

They've empathized with you, which Is exactly what the SE Is formulated to achieve. When you reply, be apologetic, yet appear quite stressed that you couldn't locate the wheel.
