Commented here 3 months ago. Now I can say I installed Blackbuntu, but it felt a bit too simplistic for me. I felt like I wanted to have something that made me learn more about computers and the linux system, so i installed Arch. It runs really well, i love how its bleeding edge and you can customize everything. Also it has increased my knowledge about linux in general, and it feels just perfect for an avarage-skilled user like me. Just enough challenging, and rewarding.
Anyone else who use Arch?

Arch is lovely, been running it myself for a couple of months now.
A bit finnicky in the start to get everything set up how I liked it, but after that almost no problems, or they were my own fault
Only things that's annoying is I can't change my laptop's screen brightness anymore, it used to work with some boot parameters but it stopped working a while ago when I updated kernel.

Also, there was some bug with the keymap in the start, but after that was fixed, and everything else,
I felt proud to be an arch user with fully installed system.

I commented over a year ago, and I've since switched to Artix Linux, and still use Windows 10 when necessary. Artix is much more practical than Kali. If you aren't pentesting or doing any form of hacking then there isn't much use for Kali.

Windows 10, because it came with my laptop and I have programs for school that only run on Win10. I'm a week away from getting a desktop computer, and then I'll have it set up to dual boot win10 and some type of linux. I haven't decided yet. I'd like an OS that's simple and focused on privacy, with a decent amount of customization available. Any ideas?
Edit: I suppose I could always run a win10 VM on a pure linux machine, but I have a friend building the computer and she's already installed Win10. Plus, I wanna game and I'm unsure if it'll work well on a VM.

There will be a performance drop to some degree on the VM.
