I found something in /system I think you all might enjoy.

If you do a file pull from the ADB for the entirety of /system to see what I could see, and lo and behold, I found a secret, almost inaccessible text file hidden away with the installation apk for YFDiSa. It's called YFDiSa.odex.
It's mostly gibberish when opened with a text editor, but there are two sections with some potentially interesting information in them. At the very top of readable stuff there is a massive ode to BCrypt, so we know what we're up against in the way of decryption.
There are a few references to decryption files located, possibly only during proper activation, somewhere in the device.
If anyone wants a looksee I just need someplace safe to upload this file. I'm pretty sure it's just me (now us!) and the folks at DiSa who know this file exists.
Also it looks to me like Java; There are pieces of the file that reference it, along with the secret folders.

Anyway,
(REMOVED)
Virus free, por vou.
The good stuff is near the top and at about the middle of the file (in a text editor). Can't miss it.
Crack on, fellow crackers. Crack on.

EDIT- Sorry, file server was a bad site to go to. Anyone got a spot I can upload a file to?

Quick update as far as the ARM chipset is concerned!

I found the freaking encryption programs and the /system and /mnt folder where all the logs are kept, including incorrect PIN inputs, whether or not the program is at all active, thus reinstalling with every factory reset like mine.

I just need a place to dump my files!!

/mnt/private/ULI/magic.bin
THIS IS YOUR KEY!!! WARNING: 256-bit SHA encrypted!

The rest of the text files are in those folders.

As soon as I can find a virus-free server to host I will put it here most assuredly.

Sidenote: Kiiiinda drunk so it probably won't happen tonight. But if you have patience good things will come. Smile
The trick is looking at the files without any rooting whatsoever. tee-hee
...
I'll be sober by tomorrow.

I am just curious if anyone knows if a Next book 10 will give you activation code when scanned with a scanner at home or does it have to be a wal-mart scanner?

Any new info on the projector codes

RE: Point-of-Sale Activation - Micgo - 07-21-2018

I have 2 Miroir m60 mini projector. With no activation codes. I'll donate for research.

Any updates on the Miroir mini projector?

Any new updates for the Garmin GPS's? I Bought so many for dirt cheap, Did not know anything about activation until I sold it online and had to issue refunds for all of them. Was such a pain. I contacted Garmin, getyourcode, E-mailed all of them, and even Wal-Mart. All were of no help to me.

Really hope someone can answer and maybe give me an update on these. Mainly been seeing posts about the Nextbooks, but not so much for the GPS's. Thank you everyone in advance.

UPDATE: This GPS I had plugged in for a few hours just got into Demo Mode. Just randomly went to that mode. Was wondering if there is anything in there to maybe try and remove certain settings to bypass the activation?

I got to be good friends with dtvguy68 at yahoo dot com. He has unlocked several of these tablets for me and is still doing it today.
The truth is most people dont have the TIME or inclination to screw with all this - just pay your $10 to him and move on with your life
Sidenote he does NOT mess with the miror projectors or GPS devices.

He has already cracked the newest versions of the DISA codes and I will keep making money selling these tablets - you can buy them by the truckload from ebay and walmart returns centers

If he is so good, why doesn't he stop being so selfish and greedy and help us out? I have searched for months and months and not one person has posted anywhere a fix to the "activation code" problem.
But just so happens your buddy, pizzaboy5150 has the answer. And just send him $10 and your tablet is fixed. Id rather send $10 to Jimmy Swaggert.
