If they were wrong would it not be safe to say they're false? Of course they would. Not all theories are false, I'm just happy that Darwin's ape to man theories are, something about the genome in both species can't create, remember that? I couldn't care less of evolution since I don't believe in it much less study it, same goes for you in the Bible, since you read a passage and don't really understand it. You are telling me that evolution is what you think happened to us, even though science says its not possible, you plainly don't want to see then. Can you prove that God doesn't exist? Can I prove God does exist? No. But we can at least believe what has been proven scientifically to not be possible (I see no evolution going on now) while I still see chimps in the wild, why? Is it because some evolved and some said," nah I'm good". Weird because you earlier said that it's wrong because it's just a theory. > I'm just happy that Darwin's ape to man theories are, something about the genome in both species can't create, remember that? Nice, because that's not what evolution is saying. Quote:The facts of evolution come from observational evidence of current processes, from imperfections in organisms recording historical common descent, and from transitions in the fossil record SourceIt's a scientific fact alongside with the other scientific theories I listed earlier. Who cares about God? The argument is about holy liquid forgiving according to your holy book. RE: What is the meaning of life? - Maravilla - 12-07-2013 That holy liquid has everything to do with God, just like everything else. That's why I just clarified to you guys my opinions. Anyways, I think we've all said what we wanted each other to hear, differences, yes, but that's human nature, we all choose what we want to believe, I'm satisfied with my points and I know yours, regardless, what counts is how we treat each other, that's what the bible resumes from the first word to the last, LOVE! RE: What is the meaning of life? - Frooxius - 12-10-2013 From biological standpoint, life is about self replicating and adapting to the environment to survive and continue the process complex of biochemical reactions, but that's basic "meaning" from the perspective of living organisms. There doesn't seem to be any evidence that there would be external entity, which gave the life some own, for us objective purpose. But that's quite liberating, since anyone can give his own life whatever meaning (or meanings) he wishes and likes/prefers. You can set a goal to contribute to society with your creations, protect other people's happiness somehow or enjoy your own life just to name a few. For myself, I would say that what I primarily want to do is create things, from certain forms of art (game design, photography, film) to useful technology. Also to learn as much about the world as I can, try to understand it and help other people learn and grow intellectually. RE: What is the meaning of life? - lovetilllastbreath - 12-11-2013 The meaning of life is a philosophical question concerning the significance of life or existence in general. It can also be expressed in different forms, such as "Why are we here?", "What is life all about?", and "What is the purpose of existence?" |
