it's still in progress, apparently I'll find out in 72hrs. Lenovo responded to it

yeah I won the case, after I submitted the report to 'reportmyloss' and they verified it.

I tried to get a PR but they just sent me an email stating the onus is on the seller to raise it as a crime. I sent that email to PayPal and told them I had still been trying to contact MS but had no joy. I also asked them whether they’d heard back from them yet. Incompetent employees. I am surprised the email wasn't sufficient.
Will you take any further steps such as chargeback?
I suppose I could have called them and got them to reopen the case but I’ve just sent it back instead. They do 60 day returns so shouldn’t be an issue

Paypal pushed back the date of the ms dispute despite them not having responded? Seems like your account is flagged and pp is suspicious... Have you used the same account for multiple disputes?

Everyone who did the Microsoft PP dispute method, if you go to your MS account orders page, does it also show you the order status as Disputed charge? Is this something we should be worried about?
