RE: What is the meaning of life? - Maravilla - 12-07-2013 Well who else can i quote? Darwin? Lol I'm starting to look stupid in your eyes but at least I've given you reasons why I believe your arguments are wrong, all you do is ask things like, "do you believe in Santa Claus too?", I'm fine with my arguments but its obvious youre not. And the only mythical creature I see here is the missing link, and it hurts non-believers because its nowhere to be found, after like you say 6 millenias? And if I believed in evolution it's likely I'd also believe in unicorns since I'd believe things magically become something else. If that's the thought then in a couple of millenias humans will decide to become the avengers, oh but only the fittest to be them. That's really silly in my point of view but like I said it may not be in yours. I refuse to believe in something that even science has proven to not be possible because of the way the genome works, it's in our face and for some reason some people still try to believe it. Except you're not giving valid arguments... you're giving opinions. And your lack of evolutionary knowledge shows again. the missing link refers to fossils that have been found that link evolutionary steps. It is not actually a missing link between them. There are a lot of existing links that scientifically prove evolution. And you really are trivializing evolution. It is not magic or instant. its an extremely slow process. Lets discuss something simple. Human height. 1000 years ago we were shorter than we are now. Why are chinese people on average much shorter than black people on average? this is evolution working. Evolution is something that takes place over millions of years. Small changes like height might change over 500-1000 years but massive changes into a different subspecies takes millions. RE: What is the meaning of life? - Maravilla - 12-07-2013 Except that the missing link is a mythical creature still because it doesn't exist, where is it at? I'm giving opinions? Of course, wasnt Darwin? Which ultimately proved wrong to begin with. You're just helping my case, what about your belief of evolution, is it not an opinion? I'm sorry but science can confirm the faults of the evolution theory, can it confirm the non existence of God? No. Thank you. I'm sorry but science can confirm the faults of the evolution theory, can it confirm the non existence of God? No. Thank you. The main concept of Darwin's theory, evolution by natural selection, is a scientific fact. Before you jump and say that evolution is just a theory(well you already claimed it),I will introduce you to other scientific theories:
So, you're going to deny all of these just because they're theories? In science terminology theories are hypotheses that have been proven right by observation and experiment and are accepted as facts. First of all, who here is arguing about God? Nobody claimed that a God doesn't exist, in fact the whole argument started when you mistakenly claimed that with love & repent you are forgiven, which according to the bible is wrong. Secondly, argumentum ad ignorantiam is a logical fallacy.Because something hasn't been proven to be false doesn't mean it's true. RE: What is the meaning of life? - Maravilla - 12-07-2013 How many of those other theories have been proven wrong? If they were wrong would it not be safe to say they're false? Of course they would. Not all theories are false, I'm just happy that Darwin's ape to man theories are, something about the genome in both species can't create, remember that? I couldn't care less of evolution since I don't believe in it much less study it, same goes for you in the Bible, since you read a passage and don't really understand it. You are telling me that evolution is what you think happened to us, even though science says its not possible, you plainly don't want to see then. Can you prove that God doesn't exist? Can I prove God does exist? No. But we can at least believe what has been proven scientifically to not be possible (I see no evolution going on now) while I still see chimps in the wild, why? Is it because some evolved and some said," nah I'm good". Come on now! RE: What is the meaning of life? - Maravilla - 12-07-2013 How many of those other theories have been proven wrong?
