Sounds really good.

I'm exercising heavily each day, so I may Incorporate meditation Into my regime.

If you train in martial arts, you can also train in your mind while meditating. It doesn't make much difference to your brain whether your body is moving or not. If you're doing some weightlifting or something like that, you need to calm down first. Meditating when your body is shaking and your heart is pounding is not a good idea.

Never tried meditation.

Does It make a difference to your overall well-being?

It certainly does. It helps me fight anxiety and work through my feelings. But I don't like to do it in a sitting position, because I sit all day anyway. So I recommend trying it lying down with some kind of guide like Headspace on Netflix.

If we consider "Prayers" as meditation, We (Muslims) are doing it 5 times aday.

Theoretically meditation is not prayer because it does not involve belief in a god, it may include belief in reincarnation but it doesn't have to. In terms of benefits, both work very similarly, meditation due to the lack of belief in a god is a much broader concept.

After all, it's just a name, just do what works for you.

Btw. When I was in Turkey, meditating to the morning prayers of the Muslims was a very pleasant experience. Usually foreigners are annoyed when they are woken up so early, but for me it's good to learn a new culture.

I may not wake up every morning but as you mentioned one of the best experience to have is listening to Azan Al-Fajir early in the morning. it is very calming...
