So on Saturday I dealt with the police report and they said come back on Monday in order for them to validate the report during the Police’s business hours or something. So its Monday and I just spoke to them and now they’ve told me “ I have reviewed the order and this case is being handled by our Specialist team, I will need to refer you to them. Please allow 48-72 hours for them to give you an update via email. “
what’s going on? are they just going to delay it even more in 48 hours or is there something I can do right now other than wait
As such, you need to wait for that decision.
So i got the police report and sent it to them and they replied back to me with:
Amaz(spam)on Executive Customer Relations.
At this time, we're unable to validate your report with the police department. Please contact us after 4 June 2023 and we can review our options. Once 14 June 2023 passes, we're no longer able to assist.
What do you suggest? @mothered

Thinking so far that I will try DNA, however if u am asked for a police report I will not be able to provide one (a few years ago, a package WAS actually stolen, and police told me they couldn’t investigate unless it was more than £500 )

It's shit bro, you need to talk with them to say them that they have no reason to don't validate because you just make it.
they will validate it within 48h and said you smth depending on the pr statement.
I got the same and i have called them to explain that, and said that my pr was not ended (just open it so they prolly right)

I’m planning on SE’ing an Apple Watch ultra from Amazon (it costs £850) I understand price of items does not matter and can still be done, however would it mean more protocol would be followed and therefore making it harder to SE?

You should say that they need to check it correctly because nothing wrong, that work only for a real pr (you just send them pr which is real, you have nothing to worry about in that way. Just do what you would do id it was a real problem)
