can i do a WIR on amzon for a ryzen 9 processor?
my plan is to say i got the wrong item (a ryzen 7) send them back the ryzen 7, keep the ryzen 9 and receive a 2nd ryzen 9 to resell or return a couple a days before the return date.

They don't actually investigate anything because it's really not a police matter. They can't even do anything if they wanted to do. But Amazon is insistent on requesting one as I think it stops a lot of people trying to scam them.

I filed the report, they said they can’t investigate because this is a civil matter.
I show this to live chat and they said wait 24 hours for them to validate the report . I reply i don’t have 24 hours etc and the customer service rep just leaves the chat.
What do I do here? Do I just wait?

Yep. In cases like this where you can't make a police report (because it's not a police matter) they will wait some amount of days and then make a decision.
