Was Darwin 100% correct? no. He didnt get everything wrong though. Unless you are defining "wrong" as contrary to what your other book says. Fact is decades of observation and a millennia of fossil records indicates he wasnt entirely wrong.

But your logic is faulty because science fully admits that aspects of his research was incorrect and the errors have been identified and new theories developed. So evolutionists do not actually consider Darwins work definitive. So your point that it is incorrect, is quite frankly moot

This is a pretty poor understanding of evolution. Is this how you interpreted evolutionism? or is this how your parents/pastor explained it? Because you've obviously never done any personal research on the subject.

Millennias? On a 6,000 year old Earth? Hell no.

there have been fossils discovered for all but one as you can see the skeletal structure is similar for each of the stages of evolution. To answer your earlier question about why there are still monkeys/apes that's simple evolution dictates that the fittest/smartest survive primates are intelligent creatures hence why they continue to survive today, back when man's ancestors first came down from the tree's not all of the primates followed so the species branched off one set became the primates we know today and the other became us. Yes I think we are nothing more than glorified monkeys and I'm OK with that.

The difference between Science and Religion is that Science constantly tries to prove itself wrong and accepts that mistakes are made (take Darwin for example) and adjusts it's theories accordingly. Religion on the other hand states that God did it and if you need proof of that heres a book that is written by God, don't believe he wrote it? Well it must be true it says so in the book.

Now in all seriousness what's to stop me scribbling some gibberish on a piece of paper and claiming God did it?

I don't mean to offend peoples points of view on religion these words are that of my opinion and I respect the views of all people.

That chart is utter bull, the only thing that is really missing is the fact that man it has lately been discovered that human and chimp genome is at highest 81% identical, not 98% ad Mr.Liar claimed. Didn't a lettuce have more resemblance than that? Don't take my word for it, take sciences. I believe in a book because of my faith, and it's more convincing to me than a man whose beliefs have become more and more proven faulty. The laws of genetics are as insurmountable as ever to have a chimp become anything but a chimp or a man become anything but a man. After 150 years of searching present living forms and the fossil record, no evidence of a fine gradation of species from ape to man has ever been found.
You're right, it is simple isn't it?

And in all fairness that, "some monkeys decided to become man", really?? That's what you believe? That's like saying," some orcas decided to go on land and became horses". I didn't come from a fish, or a rock or a tree, or an ape, I is what I is.

Ive already pointed that Darwin made mistakes. This is an accepted aspect of science. And if you're going to quote someones article, you should at least read the whole thing. Your own source states that Chimps and Humans are believed to share 93% of the same genome. Not to mention that your source isnt a scientific one... merely the opinion of another religion person.

I wont even get into the absurdity of you believing in a mythical creature simply because you havent found proof it does not exist. Still believe in Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny and Unicorns?

Really now... you're starting to make yourself look stupid.

Well, technically a millennia is 1000 years. So on a 6000 year old earth we've already had 6 Wink

If we're going to point out inaccuracies, since you are so keen to point out ONE guys mistakes that everyone here is aware of let's go through some in the Bible shall we?

The Bible claims that the earth is no more than 6000 years old, why are we digging up fossils from millions of years ago?

The Bible also states the Earth is flat, As we know this is false the Earth is in fact a sphere.

The Bible state's that God loves all his people, why then is there hunger disease war and all the other forms of suffering going on?

The Bible talks about God coming to Earth and speaking with his creations, where is this God now?

As far as the Bible is concerned something like the human race had to be created by this all powerful being, where did he come from? surely if we can't evolve or pop into existence this much more powerful being can't either?

RE: What is the meaning of life? - Maravilla - 12-07-2013

Well who else can i quote? Darwin? Lol I'm starting to look stupid in your eyes but at least I've given you reasons why I believe your arguments are wrong, all you do is ask things like, "do you believe in Santa Claus too?", I'm fine with my arguments but its obvious youre not. And the only mythical creature I see here is the missing link, and it hurts non-believers because its nowhere to be found, after like you say 6 millenias? And if I believed in evolution it's likely I'd also believe in unicorns since I'd believe things magically become something else. If that's the thought then in a couple of millenias humans will decide to become the avengers, oh but only the fittest to be them. That's really silly in my point of view but like I said it may not be in yours. I refuse to believe in something that even science has proven to not be possible because of the way the genome works, it's in our face and for some reason some people still try to believe it.
