This has escalated to a dangerous level.
My work Is losing a lot of customers, hence It's somewhat struggling to maintain staff wages. Who knows, I may well be unemployed soon.

I sincerely hope that doesn't happen! Are there any protections for employees?
Our company is somewhat worried. We're semi-unaffected at the moment. However, with the government asking employers to dish out for sick pay from day one, if our office is shut down over employees having to self-isolate etc, it could mean the end of the business. However, the office staff have a great capacity for working from home, so it may never come to that. Our engineers may be a different story.

Every employee has been medically examined for the virus, and not permitted to go overseas (to heavily affected areas) during their annual leave. We've also been told, to Immediately report anyone who has symptoms that're consistent with the virus- Inclusive of delivery drivers (DHL, FedEx, UPS etc).

I'm not entirely sure on the company's financial state. They're doing extremely well In terms of sales, so If that's an Indication of their financial stability, then It seems quite positive.

I'm not entirely sure on the company's financial state. They're doing extremely well In terms of sales, so If that's an Indication of their financial stability, then It seems quite positive.

Agree however those at a young age, have the Immune system to fight the virus, thus as opposed to the elderly, It's not life-threatening.

This is all too true. Here in the United States, a 17 year-old died. Scientists are just now figuring out many things about Coronavirus that we didn't know before. And even if you think you aren't at risk just because you're young, you should still stay inside. You could die like that 17 year-old kid, or spread the virus to an elderly person who is really at risk. Everyone plays a part.
