Best Computer Parts Companies to SE in UK? - karoloydi - 09-25-2018

I want to use the wrong items received method to get some computer parts.
Does anyone know any easy companies I can do this in UK?
I've already used Amazon for a big amount, so I wanna cool down for a while.

Companies that I'm thinking of:
-PC World
-ebuyer
-Scan
-Game

Anyone used any of these?

I think Newegg is an easy one, pretty sure they ship to the UK aswell. May get screwed over on shipping prices but worth a shot considering you get the money back, lol.

Did you try any other sites in the end?

I'm doing ebuyer atm.

I've only ever heard of one person trying them. The person in question tried to get a partial refund by saying they didn't receive the GPU, however they didn't believe him and refused him a refund.

I am going for the wrong item received method though. It's just a lot harder to do than Amazon since ebuyer do not display item weights and such and I'm terrible at buying items for the weight purposes.

I think wrong item method with ram would be quite easy.
You can get 4x8 GB and complain you received 4x2 ram of the same brand and make.
The difference in weight will be very small.

The weight would be very similar to the Amazon listed weights use that as a reference.

I'd think with ram, that you'd be able to do the empty box method as it's pretty much weightless?

Yeah I figured so. I guess I don't know how their warehouse / packing works and if they ever cross-reference.

If I send them back lots of Toothpaste, they may cross-reference any orders created on the same day that had X amount of toothpastes, etc.

Im waiting for ebuyer to reply after asking about their procedures so might be able to find something out soon. I wouldn't send back a load of toothpaste cause that would be easy to cross-check. what are you trying to SE exactly? Ill help find something for you.

No, haven't tried yet. I was planning to do scan, but then realised that scan is recording the serial numbers, then forgot about it. Did different SEs.
