Boxing amazon - litpapii - 09-18-2018 Any other ways to box amazon other than with dry ice? RE: Boxing amazon - mothered - 09-18-2018 What Item Is It? If It's very light (example Ram), you will not need dry Ice. Extra packaging will make up the weight during consignment. RE: Boxing amazon - litpapii - 09-18-2018 ps4, however in spain i cant seem to find dry ice anywhere, hence thats why i was looking for other ways. RE: Boxing amazon - Auftot - 09-18-2018 I have heard of people using ordinary ice, I suppose the benefit to this is that it also melts and gives the box a wet, and damaged appearance. I've never personally done it but I don't see why it wouldn't work- unless the ice didn't melt in time. I would think the company would question as to why the box was wet and be kind of suspicious RE: Boxing amazon - Auftot - 09-18-2018 (09-18-2018, 10:05 PM)100rnd Wrote:(09-18-2018, 09:21 PM)Auftot Wrote: I have heard of people using ordinary ice, I suppose the benefit to this is that it also melts and gives the box a wet, and damaged appearance. And the company don't necessarily have any proof that it is your fault. I think it's worth a try. If I ever do it I'll make a thread detailing my success/failure and how it went. Wrong Item received. Find something (obviously a lot cheaper) that they stock of equal weight, and send that. The only loss to you, Is the minimal cost of the replacement Item. That's If you decide to purchase It. Does wrong item received have a high sucess rate? As I wouldnt mind spending that minimal cost of the replacement item. It does but It also depends on the Item, namely It's value. For Instance, If It's a laptop worth In the thousands, the SE Is destined to fail. Those valued < 500$ will more than likely succeed. Given the magnitude of return/refund claims each day, a lot of companies don't have the manpower to address/check each one, hence class It as a write-off and close the claim there and then by complying with the account holder's request. Do remember that an SE Is never guaranteed to work. We can only go by the likely hood of a successful outcome based on It's merits.
