Amazon Refund Attempt Help - kinghtbeast1 - 04-03-2018
I tried to get a refund a xbox x but they kept transferring me to a specialist. After 5th try I was like fuck it and went to specialist obviously they did an investigation and after 3 days they told me to get a police report. Anyway around this? I haven't se in 2 years they drastically increased security. I did the did not receive method.

No.
Do as they ask and get a police report. There's no turning back. Doing so will change your story and as such, will be an admission of guilt. As I've mentioned countless times on various threads, a police report Is part of company protocol based on the merit of the account holder's action/request.

I don’t mind getting a police report but in the off chance they do investigate I’m kinda screwed. I know my mail man and he gave it to me by hand.

Another question if you don’t mind. I know a guy who can make fake police reports. Does amazon actually check them.

no he was going to leave it in front of the door but my roommate opened the door.

So what's the Issue?
If the Item was accepted without any form of authorization (or proof of receipt), It's no different to leaving It at your doorstep. The mailman cannot recall each and every event and even If he could, It's his word against yours.
