In this guide, I will teach you how to make your own methods without help from others. In this guide, the term Social Engineering ("SE") will be used to describe warranty exploitation; not to describe human manipulation. I do not recommend the SE'ing of small companies or startups. Doing so will be damaging to their company, causing a major impact on their well-deserved and hard-earnt fundings. The economy is bad enough and I believe all SE'rs should approach with an appropriate amount of morality. Basic Things to Acknowledge In order to first make methods, you must first understand different techniques of having a replacement dispatched as well as a few other things. The following is a quick outline of what you should know: -It is important to research before you SE. -"Cross-Shipping" -Forging receipts. -Forging proof of shipment. (See cross-shipping.) -Understanding of how to use a drop address. -Ability to articulate lies over the phone/face-to-face without drawbacks. -Writing skills, grasp of formal language and good grammar to present written communication in a convincing manner. Choosing Companies It is recommended that you start off with small or medium-sized companies. You can do this easily via Google or another standard search engine. Gadget websites and online stores such as Amazon do help. Find a company you have never heard of or a smaller company to target. Do NOT SE tiny companies as SE'ing will affect their profit margins. Tiny implies that they earn less than $100,000 in gross income. Research, Approach and the SE'ing Process If the companies require serials, it is not difficult to get them. The easiest way is via images on the web. The most difficult way yet most efficient way is calling people with a genuine interest of purchasing their product. Approaching companies is most recommended by email as written correspondence can always easily be forwarded to a manager as a last attempt before giving up the SE. However, some companies work better by calling them. The SE'ing process should not be difficult once you have the hang of it. The process generally requires you to generate a receipt and/or convince them with an excuse that you wish to have your replacement sent to you in advance. Writing the Method Writing the method is easy. Have an Introduction, Method and Evaluation. Remember to state any warnings about the company. Number the steps of your method and list them so it's easier to read. Conclusion Thanks for reading! If you have any suggestions on what to include, place them here so I can improve this guide. I intended to use smaller to mean "company smaller than a large company", i.e, a medium-sized company. I've edited the thread for it to make more sense. Thanks for spotting the mistake. RE: How to Create Your Own SE'ing Methods - Darkmuseisbae - 06-23-2013 I stick to medium sized companies RE: How to Create Your Own SE'ing Methods - ComputerTrophy - 06-23-2013 (06-23-2013, 02:37 AM)Kirito Wrote: The point of SE'ing is to get free things, the smaller, the easier. This is the case for beginners and standard warranty exploitation. When you have gained sufficient expertise at warranty exploitation, you can go big for no effort at all. For example, I managed to get a Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 without investment, boxing, AR, biohazard or any of the usual beginner techniques. I agree with you. I don't SE tiny companies, but small companies are easy to SE. RE: How to Create Your Own SE'ing Methods - Darkmuseisbae - 06-23-2013 It's hard to find small companies with good things lol RE: How to Create Your Own SE'ing Methods - ComputerTrophy - 06-24-2013 (06-23-2013, 10:06 PM)JustCallMeJoe Wrote: It's hard to find small companies with good things lol Go for the bad things too.
