I didn't think a company on that scale Is so gullible.

You've made your complaint and without any further questions, they've Instantly offered a replacement. Furthermore, a product return was not required. It doesn't get much easier than that.

I was kinda lucky with the rep, I did this once again for a friend of mine and they told me to return it, I made something up and told them that I spoke with another rep on the phone and that the rep told me I was free to dispose it. This rep who was helping me believed that and then I got my replacement anyway.

I really think you should have put this in an upgraded area, but thanks for the share anyways!

Even when you had to do a simple box for this, it amazes me Corsair goes for it so well. Perhaps its something that most of the SEers they get are for their peripherals not their regular equipment like fans?

Regardless, good luck to anyone who tries!

Nice one.

When you reference an Internal part of the company (the rep In this case), It tends to be more Influential, therefore Increases the likely hood of a successful outcome.

You can maybe try the excuse I mentioned in above's post. But, they don't really care about their cheap products like fans. If you would like to get a keyboard or something, you will probably have to box them, it comes with a return label if I'm correct.

In OP, I have done it on a RGB fan because I wanted one.
