The method come from MPGH but i added more detail
Btw tile is a gps tracker
Step 1 :
download the tile app on your Android device here the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thetileapp.tile&hl=fr
then create an account.
Step 2:
go to this link :https://support.thetileapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205348827-How-do-I-contact-Customer-Care- and do what is typed and tell them you have a problem pairing your tile to your phone
step 3:
they will ask if it makes a tune when you press buttons say that it don't and act like if you were doing troubleshooting then choose which model you want (sport, slim, mate or style) then they will ask for a contact number and a shipping address and that's all you just SE'ed a product worth around 35€ !

Im receiving my tile in a few days. Haven't made up any reason why I cant send the 'defective' one back yet. I think I'm going to say I've already disposed it as it wasn't stated in the live chat (only in the email) that I should keep it. What do you think?

Yeah, you should say that since it wasn't working you threw it away because there is no point in keeping something that don't work
or you could also say that the battery was leaking so you threw it away.

Ayyyy you found my guide! I have like 5 tiles I got from SE'ing
It only took me like 5 mins on live chat and then I got it replaced. Shipping took 10 days give or take

Edit: They asked me every time to throw the defective one out in the nearest disposal center

For other users who might want to try this at least put some effort into making it believable. I have no idea on how this guy got them to send him a new one, but oh well. Good job
