[AMAZON] Returning Wrong GPU - Craven88 - 12-25-2017 I ordered a new GPU and I am planning to return the shitty old one in the packaging. They have the same size and perfectly fit into the box. Would this work? One of the default return options for Amazon is "received wrong product" You should obviously use that one. I had an instance like this once. I asked the rep what happens when Amazon receives my product from the warehouse. The rep said when it arrives. If the seller wants to keep it in inventory, they can or they just recycle it. But in your case, I think you'd get away with it, amazon dont even know what planet they're on half the time, if the reps are so bs sitting down all day, imagine the warehouse workers who stand their full 8 hour or whatever shift, they probably will check it fast, and give it the go ahead Let us know how it goes, and they woulden't bann, they'll message you ask what happened, if they figure out and start questioning and getting into your face, you can just say something like oh i must've given the wrong one because i work as a parts seller or some bs don't worry though, should be fine RE: [AMAZON] Returning Wrong Product - Craven88 - 12-26-2017 (12-25-2017, 11:35 PM)Sultaan Wrote: I don't think so. Actually picking "wrong product received" or something else? Actually picking "wrong product received" or something else? Although Amazon will ask that the product be returned (via a prepaid return label), If you're adamant that you've received the wrong product, then you (from a consumer's standpoint) are under no obligation to return It. As far as they're concerned, It's their error not yours. For example (In terms of errors), In some localities If you physically purchase an Item and It's scanned Incorrectly at a higher cost, you get that Item free of charge. Back to Amazon, this does not speak for each and every scenario. For a successful outcome, you need to take control, be assertive and call the shots throughout the entire SE. RE: [AMAZON] Returning Wrong Product (SUCCESSFULL) - Craven88 - 01-14-2018 Just to update this: It actually worked and I got the refund. I suppose you could also do this with a 1080 and noone would realize. What if you just send an empty box? |
