First Amazon Investagation - Dickflap - 11-05-2017

I don't know if you guys are familiar with the Live Chat rep Vinothini.. but he/she is a pain in the ass.
I got my cue that I've refunded too many times when they said " Looks like you've had multiple delivery issues with us.."

The damn rep told me I would have to contact a local authority and they are going to start an investagation and get back to me within a few hours..

I CLOSED THAT CHAT AT LIGHTNING SPEED.

Question is, since I disconnected will they still do an investagation? Thanks fellas.

Hmm, I believe they will. What was your story? never arrived?

If you either partial refund or say there was nothing in the box they won't be a delivery issue as the delivery man gave you the package.

I believe they will close your account because of suspicious activity.

Good luck, if the police come knock at your door. Stick to your story and make sure the package is not in your house

Missing item from a year ago lol. I doubt they'll send police knocking, considering they told me it wasn't their problem and I'd have to be the one to reach out to them

Too apparent. There's a rule in social engineering: Don't shit where you sleep, always use a drop address.

RE: First Amazon Investagation - Dickflap - 11-05-2017

What exactly is a drop address?

RE: First Amazon Investagation - MysticShadows - 11-05-2017

An address that's usually a empty house. You use fake identity info. So nothing will be linked to you.

I see, I know of a house that is currently for sale close by. However it has the for sale sign on it.. wonder if it would work

I've used houses like these before. I usually just take out the for sale sign the night before my package is suppose to arrive and hide it nearby. I usually stick it back up so nothing is suspicious in-case the landlord comes by.

What you also could do is writing a note and put it on the window of the door the day the item arrives saying:

"Hey, I am currently in process of moving, You can put the package (come up with something like next the trash container or in the shed)"

Although me I don't like using drop houses.

I CLOSED THAT CHAT AT LIGHTNING SPEED.

Doing so (closing the chat session In the manner you've described), Is an Indirect admission of guilt. You should've ended the session amicably.

An Investigation Is part of company protocol- to establish exactly what the circumstances are leading to the refund Itself. Let us know exactly where you're at now and we can take It from there.
