SE Amazon for refund $100 - soadfan - 11-03-2017
I decided to try amazon refund me. Never done this with amazon before, only ebay and some other companies.
Going to purchase a pc part with price around $100. I'm not in US, but using a 3d party company that brings received package there directly to me. what method should I use? Any tips for what should I look for, like seller... and other things.

You could tell them it was never delivered. Something of that cost is likely not worth their investigation time.

Is it better to select Amazon as a seller?
Also forget to mention I'm going to use my main account, never used to refund anything + 5-6 years old.

I have no idea. A one time thing doesn't seem suspicious to me.

Has to be fulfilled by Amazon. As it is only 100$ you could just say the package is empty, and usually get a refund instantly. Did that for 200$ easy.

Hmm... Isn't empty package suspicious? don't they track package and see weight? It shouldn't be heavy, around 2 pounds

I mean, for 100 dollars they arent going to investigate too much, i got 200$ refund in 4 minutes with chat saying the package was empty.

I would not pursue this the same day
I would wait til Monday of next week and call them or email them and explain you were informed via Amazon orders your package was received today. Explain you've not only visited the local post office but also called several times with no luck. Explain the package was never received and you wanted an update incase it was a glitch on their end. They will offer replacement or refund. State that it is the last piece you need before you can begin using your PC again and you'd prefer a refund as you will just go to the local Best buy (or other similar big box stores). I would strongly suggest not using the empty box method as it will be more likely to arouse suspicion then the "I never got my shit" method.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to use "missing item" method. I have ordered 3 items, and would say like I got 2 of them and 1 is missing... (all 3 were sent together)
