Complete Home Automation - Over 8 Successful SE's!!! - Dopewaffle - 08-26-2017

Hey everyone, I'm currently on a mission that I started 5 weeks ago and I need someone who can help me achieve the last part of it. I'm currently social engineering everything it takes to have an automated home which involves quite a few things. The category of products I have successfully SE'd in the past 5 weeks are a badass router/smart hub, WiFi light bulbs, WiFi switches, WiFi home security, WiFi door locks, WiFi cameras and a WiFi thermostat. I'm here today to ask for help in assisting me in the last product I need. I'm in search for a wireless switch that will control the fan switch to allow me to turn the ceiling fan off/on. If anyone has previously done anything similiar I would love it if you reached out to me and told me how you set it up and how the product worked.

I have a ton of products that I've SE'd over the past  5 weeks for my house to be fully automated and quite a few "hubs" that the products connect too. I currently have the following hubs: TP-Link, Samsung smart connect as well as a Samsung smart things hub (I fucked up and got the wrong one for the cameras I SE'd lol) , WiNK wireless hub, Lutron smart hub, and a Phillips hue hub for lighting. If you are deciding to help me and are thinking about taking on this task, I would greatly appreciate it if you were to aim twords a product that connects to one of the hubs I already have SE'd and have listed above. That would save me a good amount of time not having to get yet another damn hub.

If you do have experience or even an idea with a high possibility of success then we can go over each others work and perfect it. I have a lot of leftover products that wouldn't work for my setup or just things I wont end up using so I will compensate you for your time by giving you a product that you can use or sell. I have a few smaller things too but we can talk about your compensation before we get deep into it so we both know what were getting before hand. Thank you to all who have read this far and I appreciate any input from anyone.

Note #1: A lot of products work in conjunction with other products. Like for example I SE'd a WiFi Kwikset front door lock and deadbolt and it connects to my Samsung hub. Most products say compatibility on them or in description!

Note #2: Please try to keep any Amazon refunds, exchanges, boxing, etc out of this thread, I would appreciate it.

Did you SE mostly from Amazon? Why can't you do it yourself after that much experience? Did you rape your address with tons of orders and need someone else' address to finish the job? Do you just not have enough time to pull these off?

So many questions.

Thanks for the reply bud! I honestly try to keep away from Amazon not only because I've claimed many orders from them and I would prefer to do companies directly because it gains experience for me. All the products I've done in this thread have been directly from the company, some way harder than others. I really dont consider claiming things from Amazon social engineering.

Hey man I have some experience. What are you doing to other companies to get stuff that is not working this time?

My question is, have you done advanced replacement for all the items you've mentioned in the thread? If so, have you used a drop? Oh and btw for your note 2, thank god someone doesn't do Amazon refunds these days. Anyway, you should take a look at Amazon launchpad or something, you'll probably come across one.

Hey! I had everything AR'd except the Phillips Hue bulbs and hub and for that they offered me cross-shipping so I decided to take it. I used a drop on all these items just to be safe because I had never done them and would hate to get invoiced. I've looked at a couple different options and may just bite the bullet and go straight for a fan that has a built in connection to a hub to control. I've SE'd some weird shit in my time but a ceiling fan is up there. haha

Alright, thank you very much for the information. I already thought you were AR'ing them, good to hear that you've used a drop for the love of god. I sadly don't have a drop anywhere available near me, nor will I ever use reships for this kind of stuff. It would be so much easier for me to SE very big items, but I just always get around returning it, will take a month or two, though.

I've always believed in drops, but not so much reships. I know a lot of them require an ID and a lot of companies will automatically get suspicious if the address of a reshipping company pops up when they enter the address you would give them. I actually had that happen with those Dell monitors back in the day as well as Fitbit lmao. I see a few people across different forums offer their drop shipping service (maybe its sent to their house and they dont care?) but I'm not sure if I trust that entirely.

I'm not sure where you got that from but yes I boxed them for a galaxy phone. There not hard although it took a little convincing, I just believe a lot of people won't try things of that degree because they feel like they wouldn't be able to follow through and complete it. It took over 40 days IIRC from start to finish and over 10 phone calls.
