Thoughts on Trump so far? - Shinoa - 06-02-2017

I don't want to sound controversial or anything, but I'm interested to hear what are your guy's thoughts on President Trump?
A lot of people from both the right and left of the political compass have been liking what Trump is doing and a lot haven't.

Has Trump done better or worse than you expected?

He is doing better than I expected, but that doesn't change the fact that he is a complete moron who should not be in office. I believed he would have resigned by now but he has proven me wrong, I guess he might actually stick to his full term. But I will make a few predictions based on current evidence,Democrats will take office next term due to the absurdity the Republicans are pushing and the stock market will crash due to the over inflated egos of CEO's getting away with pretty much anything during this time the bubble will be ripe to burst from midpoint of Trump's reign till the end when it does happen I say make sure to swoop in and grab DOW and NASDAQ stock cheap and wait for it to resume normal levels and cash in.

I don't reside under his presidency, so It'll be premature to conclusively comment on his capacity of leadership.

All I can say In general terms Is (I hope It never comes to this), we'll see how he handles a real terrorist Incident- similar to that of 911. That will demonstrate whether he can fulfill his role effectively.

He ain't a true President. That's my opinion.

Personally, I like some of the ideas he has but he can be pretty moronic.

I honestly believe Russia help put him in power to sow as much chaos as possible in the United states and European allies.

edit: typo

RE: Thoughts on Trump so far? - DigitalJinx - 06-05-2017

Except for the fact that CIA, FBI, NSA came out with reports saying that.

RE: Thoughts on Trump so far? - SxTxN - 06-05-2017

He's just like the previous leaders, they all accused Saudi Arabia of 9/11 yet they keep doing a weapons trade deal worth millions.

I've heard this a lot, but have yet to see any evidence ?

So this is the point when I have to take into consideration a few things:
1. Is this person a child (typically grossly ignorant)?
2. Is this person a willfully ignorant adult (otherwise known as 'in denial')?
3. Is this person trolling?

I say this because your response sounds like something that would come off of Trump's twitter account. The fact of Russia meddling in our election to help get Trump elected is not up for debate. The FBI, CIA, and NSA all came to the same conclusion. So are we to just ignore our intelligence agencies? You know, the people responsible for figuring this shit out in the first place? Or should we listen to the propaganda that comes straight out of Trump's mouth?

Not to mention every other horrifying story that has come out regarding Trump's administration, like:
1. Attorney General Sally Yates reports to white house that National Security Advisor Michael Flynn has been compromised by the Russians. Trump does nothing for 18 days until story is leaked to the press.
2. Trump fires FBI Director James Comey. It is later revealed that Trump had asked Comey to drop the investigation into Michael Flynn.
4. Trump threatens Comey with supposed 'tapes' of their conversation. Remind you of anything? Threatening the man who was in charge of investigating you NEVER makes you look good.
5. The MANY people in Trump's administration who denied having contact with Russians, only to admit that they did after the press found out. (E.g. Jeff Sessions, who recused himself from the investigation because of it)

And of course the list goes on, but unfortunately I don't want to invest too much time into someone who might be a troll. There is a reason we don't get to see a lot of the 'evidence' yet as well... most of that information is classified as the now CRIMINAL investigation is still ongoing.
But with that said, even with the information that's now public via leaks, it takes one ignorant person to think that there is absolutely no collusion between Trump's administration and Russia.

But if you're being serious, I don't expect that I will be able to persuade you. Perhaps you should tune in Thursday and listen to what James Comey has to tell the Senate. I have a feeling you wont like what he has to say about your hero Donald Trump.
