Nokia's 3310 phone has been relaunched nearly 17 years after its debut.

Hmm... Interesting, but the everyone is gravitating towards smartphones, so it won't sell that much.
It would be interesting if Nokia partnered with Jolla, because the Jolla phone sucks.
However, that's never happening, so Nokia is gonna die with all the Windows Phones.

It'll get a few "nostalgia buyers," but I could hardly see it breaking through the modern smartphone market.

In my case, exactly this.
I first had the Nokia 3210 and then purchased the 3310. By memory, It was sometime In 2001. I love the look of the new release. Who knows, I may just purchase one. Thanks for this @Aeolian, you've given me reason to spend some cash.

Definitely so.
Compared to what smartphones are worth nowadays, $51 (round figures) Is a giveaway. Naturally you cannot compare It's functionality with smartphones, but that's not the point. A touch of nostalgia In It's positive form Is priceless.

Brace yourselves, YouTube reviewers are coming.
I really liked this phone, this was one of the first phones I got. It did what it needed to do back than. I know many people who would still prefer this over a smartphone. Especially for people who work in construction or some things like that, this phone is the shit to get.
