One of the underlying doctrines of Islam (not one of their "pillars") states that Muhammad was a prophet of the same God (called Yahweh) as all previous Jewish prophets.
The canonized Scripture of Islam claims that it (the Quran\Koran) "confirms what came before", meaning, what you find in the older books (the Jewish Torah and Christian "Gospels")
you should find "confirmed" in it.
Muslim scholars will try to tell other people that this "confirmation" only means that where the two agree, it confirms it, where they differ,
the Koran supposedly "confirms" that the previous books have been corrupted -but this explanation does not fit with what else the Koran teaches, primarily that the Christians and Jews,
of Muhammads time, were instructed by the Koran to "judge by what they have in their hands"! So, anyone who agrees with the opinions of the Islamic scholars should be prepared to answer:
Why would God command people to obey a corrupted book?

Because regardless of reading that I'd have the same answer.
If Islam had the same God as say Christians then the God would have the same laws and praying rights etc etc, so there would be no point in any Islamic religion, it's like making 2 words mean the exact same thing in the exact same context, there's no point

Ironically, Christianity, Vatican, Jewish and Islam more or less follow the same ideal of a God. If you trace down the history of each book, then you'll notice how they all didn't appear at the same time. They appeared at different times, in different places with the same content in them (roughly) but they did so after travelling across oceans became more of a thing. Take Christianity for example, they are derived from Jewish religion, but outright deny it. (The Bible even labels Jesus as a Jew and they do follow the same scripts.)

There are a lot of similarities in Muslim , Christians and Hindu's Saying/ books. But Hindu's Believe in Idols which Muslims do not. Christian's say that Jesus is god and some times they also say that Jesus is son of god. But Muslims only believe in one god - Allah..
Although they all have a superior god which might be one.... Not sure. I'm weak in this part.

This is kinda a unanswerable question as you cannot know what one thinks or believes. I do give people the benefit of doubt and believe them when they say they believe in the same God. But they do not see him the same as a Christian or jew would I believe if they did all religions would be the same.
