Brexit - Paradigm - 06-08-2016

So on the 23rd of June the UK will be voting on whether to leave the European Union, I know this wont bother most of you but for those who care about this sort of thing whats your opinion? Is Britain leaving the EU the right move?

Hmm, depends really if it even does anything bad? What would be the consequences of them leaving?

P.S. Your GitHub is weak AF Wink))

There are no facts it's a lot of speculation surrounding it. Some people say it will be detrimental to the economy and others say the opposite so it's hard to really know.

P.S
I haven't updated it yet but thought I'd grab the OG Wink

RE: Brexit - Zodiac - 06-08-2016

I myself think we shouldn't leave just thought the fact Magic Stars can't be sold outside the EU lmao.

But nah, my family think we should leave. Cameron was saying if he can't negotiate then he wants to leave but his opinion has completely changed. I can't vote anyway.

My girlfriend is genuinely voting based on magic stars...

I'm still split, I think the pound will take a massive dive if we leave but whose to say it wont go back up. It would mean the UK can control there own borders and make there own decisions but then you lose free trade and other benefits from the EU.

RE: Brexit - sdk_mybb_import25755 - 06-08-2016

I think you guys would be fine. Might take a SMALL dive but not too much I imagine, unless that "Magic Stars" thing is big, it could be a waste of money for quite a lot of Stores or something like that.

I am about to get a different Github too

RE: Brexit - Jebusfathead - 06-08-2016

I was gonna make this thread today, as I saw a ukip bus go by with people shouting 'we want our country back' etc xD.

Imo we should leave the EU, it continually tried to give us the weaker, more unstable euro. Not to mention the idea that a country should be run by itself, not some little group in Brussels or wherever they meet. The only downside is the fact that more than 50% of uk trade is within the eu, but if we leave the eu this does not mean we cannot trade with them, there are countries that are not in the eu but can trade freely within the eu like eu countries can. Not to mention that if the eu really thinks the uk needs them, they are dead wrong, the U.K. Has the 7th biggest economy, if they want to lose that, then we'll just trade with other countries, not to mention most uk trade is in finical services, which other countries value extremely high. So yea, sure we might suffer at the start, but imo it would get better.

Also fuck David Cameron, he wastes the taxpayer's money to print pro eu leaflets which most people disagree with anyway, yet he doesn't even pay his own taxes, he must be really for the eu if he does that.

Canada have a really good trading deal with the EU, if the UK managed to get a similar deal all would be fine.

Yea, the one other thing that pisses me off is how they release all these stats like'oh leaving will cost each household 4k a month' Yea, but you never said that it would actually increase back to normal, and possibly above that after a few years, not to mention that their math is supposedly off lol.

Anything anyone says is speculation and no one will actually know whats going to happen.

I read this and it made me chuckle

"I know there are problems with the EU but can anyone properly explain what our plan is if we leave?
We have all been on a night out with that mate who when you are in a club says "it's shit here" let's go somewhere else. Then when you leave you realise he has no idea where to go and the place you left won't let you back in. Without a decent follow up plan a leave vote could see the UK standing in a kebab shop arguing about who's fault it is."
