Boruto Manga - yokai - 05-10-2016

A few days ago the official Boruto manga started, as a sequel to the well know Naruto manga. Just a simple question to lay out there is a very divided interest in this manga. Who here have any interest in reading it and/or watching a possible upcoming anime of the series?

I haven't seen the movie yet, and I left the anime like 2 or 3 years ago (I finished reading the manga and that's it). Probably I'd like to read the new manga because of the history of Naruto & Sasuke after war, not because I find Boruto an interesting character.

RE: Boruto Manga - Jebusfathead - 05-10-2016

I've seen the movie, but I've never really got into manga, might read the Boruto one of its real good.

My phone tried to autocorrect Boruto to abortion :/

Well the art is a bit strange at first. (Sasuke's hair is a mess and everyone looks somewhat fatter.) That being said, the movie was good and I have hopes for the actual story part. Aside from the entire destruction of Konoha again. You can start reading the manga without watching the moveie BTW. The Boruto Manga starts by telling the events of the movie.

The manga starts by telling the same story as the movie did, so that is interesting. The art is a bit off as the manga isn't by Kishimoto though.

I'll give it a chance then, hopefully it becomes an interesting manga like Naruto. Maybe Boruto will become a new Hokage someday, or be more powerful than his father, who knows.

He refused the title and never wanted to be Hokage. (Established in Boruto the Movie). The Hokage of his generation will most likely be Sarada Uchiha. That being said, Boruto (from what we've seen) will become strong. How strong is unknown though.

*SPOLIERS*

Boruto has huge potential. It's amazing he was able to control that rasengan at the end.

Wouldn't he inherit some of Asura's chakra from Naruto, and Hamura's chakra from Hinata? Pretty sure he's gonna be pretty damned strong.

Never thought of that, that's crazy.

Yea, but I'm not sure, because idk if it is directly inherited at the same strength at which Naruto would of had it. Not to mention Naruto did train with legendary masters like Pervy Sage
