...their voices are entirely different. $$ has a much different style of singing/rapping than sesh.

Different voice does not mean they didn't rip them off. SS only became a thing because of the doors sesh opened. Listen to SS's old material and you'll understand how they jacked their style.
I'll admit that they're evolving and taking on a more independent sound, but even aside from the sound, their content and substance is just weak and corny as hell.
