Atari 2600 Wallpaper! - Skullmeat - 03-06-2016

Just mashed together some assets I found, none of the images are mine, just the filtering was done by me.

This one was just for me, being a neptunia fan.

I feel like I could do better here, feel free to make suggestions.

Hmm, when I think of a wallpaper, I think of colors that go together. I like the idea, but neptunia render is just so bright compared to the background. It needs to blend well, and I just can't figure out a way to have both fit.

My thoughts as well. I couldn't find a good wallpaper to use with her.

Suggestion is to make something that is your own creative property.

How is this any different than remixing or sampling music?

He asked for a suggestion, not a comparison.

My question was directed towards you, not him.

You imply his wallpaper is not his own "creative property". Again, I ask how is this any different than the various musicians and artists of the world that have taken inspiration from, or sampled other musicians or artists.

Just because he doesn't own the source images, doesn't me he didn't create something.

Creating "something" ≠ creative property

I don't think that's the kind of advice Skullmeat was after. I believe it had more to do with the way he can make it flow using the found images he has. I doubt he is interested in making his own images.

There needs to be some sort of filtering for the character. She's too bright and a completely different texture and tone. Play with the saturation and lay some subtle textures on her. See what happens!
