The Idea of GFX Tutorials + GFX Suggestions - Legolas - 08-18-2014

Hello everyone! :Smile:

After my latest Idea (here) and the Idea of HackCommunity Store (here), i thought another one, which it would help the Community. So, let me introduce it to You.

→ I noticed that the section of GFX Tutorials, is a bit empty. But, i have a good motivation for all Designers.

Questions for all HC Designers :
→ You do not have free time for making GFX Tutorials? Do you believe that " Time is Money " ?

→ Okay! I 've the solution. I am willing to pay for every new and unique GFX Tutorial.

→ 10.00 - 25.00 Euros € - per GFX Tutorial.

→ A Committee of some people or Me, would check the uniqueness of new GFX Turoials, and after this, i would pay the OP.

→ Most people like to read GFX Tutorials. It's interesting! So, i 'd like to hold this section powerful.

You may have some questions :

1. #You : Are you idiot? Why do you want to pay for GFX Tuts? You can just google and find everything !
#Me: I know that i can find everything. There are plenty of Tuts. But, i just want to read unique Tuts inside our Community. I don't want to search. And, we should not forget the History of HC. It started as a GFX Community.

2. #You : You can not do everything with money.
#Me: I know it! But, with my Idea, the HC Designers, will not have the sense of time-wasting. In addition, they will make a powerful HC Account through Tuts. And they will make a good Fame. Actually, "2 positives in 1" .

3. #You : What GFX Tutorials would you like to see?
#Me: I prefer Web Design but this is not necessary. For example: Lay outs, Backgrounds, Buttons, Flash Website Templates, Dynamic Text Scrollers, Logos, Tutorials about using of Adobe Illustrator, Aftereffects, 3D design software, Video game design.

4. #You : I am not sure if this idea will help the community.
#Me: Why? My purpose/goal, is to make better HC. I love it. :Heart: That's why, i always try to give extra motivations to other members.

- The part of GFX Suggestions -

1. @bluedog.tar.gz, i think a GFX Award is necessary for the Community. We had a GFX Award in the past. We have many Designers and we should not forget HCs' History. :Thumbs-Up:

2. I think that the section of Graphics Talk needs some changes. It would be better if we add some subforums inside the section of "Graphics Talk". For example, we could add subforums such as :
i) Graphic Resources. (collections and etc.)
ii) Photography Forum ( A subforum, about Member's photos. // Do you enjoy to photograph ? Do you have some awesome photos? Show us ! :Smile: )
iii) Portofolio (A subforum, where the members will post their GFX work/projects)

I completely support this idea. I find this a very very good suggestion which will help HC in several ways.

1. Getting Good tutorials.
2. An underdeveloped sub forum will emerge as a new powerful section.
3. Designers will be able to learn and earn and hence thereby they will be willing to post more tutorials.
4. HC's ranking will improve.
5. More HQ Designers might join the thread.

A little Suggestion from my side :-

GFX tutorials shouldn't be more focused on just Web Dev. Articles on Vector designing for Game Development, Logo Designing, using Adobe Illustrator, or Aftereffects etc. etc. should be given equal weightage

Also to the admin @bluedog.tar.gz if tutorials were created like web developement stuffs or designing etc etc. then make a demo of those applications host them under a subdomain so that we can have a live demo of those and they will look much better. We can even get more traffic.

Yes, i agree! :Smile: The GFX Tuts should not only focused on Web Design. I will edit it but this is not the final Thread.

I think this is a great idea and I agree that it will motivate us , the designers to post more tutorials.

IT's awesome you want to pay actual money to people with good & unique tutorials to help the community stay active in the GFX corner but i'm surprised no staff though off this earlier. Mayb you should apply for staff, i'd certainly vouch for you. I also loved the idea of HC shirts, i would certainly pay a good buck for one!
I hope our designers grab the bait because we have good people here, all they need is the motivation i'm sure! Biggrin

Thank you ! :Thumbs-Up: I do not know if this happens on purpose, but i am really disappointed. My goal is to make bigger the Community. More Famous. More Powerful. The Number #1 !

There were Staff Applications on the past, but this is not my goal. My goal is to make a community with talented members. However, i 'd like to hear @bluedog.tar.gz's opinion.
