Try using adwcleaner in Safe Mode

RE: adware - h3r0 - 07-24-2014

I would also suggest (If you haven't already done it) do a boot-time scan with Avast. In my experience it has been the best way to remove crap (Doesn't give adware/trojens/viruses time to move).

Well, the best way to get rid of an infection is to Re-install your OS. This is why It's always important to keep a backup of your valuable files in case you need to format your computer one day. Since It's only adware, it should be safe to copy your files from your computer to a USB (though I could be wrong. Since It might have binded with some files or it could auto spread to your USB stick, but It's worth a try). If you want to be 100% sure that you don't want it to spread on your USB, try burning your files on an optical disk, that way it won't be able to infect your disk and spread to your new installation (considering that It hasn't binded itself with your valuable files yet)

TL;DR : Backup your files on a USB or Optical disk and format your computer in order to re-install a freash copy of your OS of choice.

RE: adware - BlueCat - 07-25-2014

I done a boot scan last night, That took about 4 hours to accomplish, Mainly the files where infected by a C99 shell I had stored in my documents for hacking purposes and the rest where just ADWARE. Once that was done, I decided to do a full system scan and I only had 2 virus's left which am sorting out now. Confusedmile:

The C99 shell is commonly detected as a false positive by many AVs. That's nothing to worry about mate. Good to hear that you got rid of those adwares though.

Also, be sure to check your Msconfig (Type Msconfig in your start menu search bar) in order to see if any suspicious application has been added to your startup.
