Are your online privacy at risk? Find out NOW! - dmaxx - 07-06-2014 People love the Internets, it allow them to do so much they couldn't before, every day there's a new site and a new place to meet new people and finding new information about something, many of then required sign-up to use also, which usually is not a problem right? but it can be, not all people are honest people sadly and they don't care who you are or what you do, but i can assure you that they care very much about WHAT you have and every-time you sign up to a website you provide a additional way for them to get it, most serious sites however will do what they can to keep the bad people away from getting what's yours, but they do not always succeed and many less serious sites do even less to protect your privacy and when that happens you would usually want to know about it as fast as possible when they fail... and that my friend, is what i provide here, a way to check if your online security is at risk by checking if any website you have signed up for have been victims for the bad guys and also provide a way to get notified if it happens in the further via email, so click the link below and check NOW... CLICK HERE----->>>>https://haveibeenpwned.com/ and just so it's clear, it will only tell you WHEN you privacy is at risk so make sure to always use a strong password and one which you do not use other places, if you do not wish to write a strong password and a new one every time then you can create a simple password that is easy to remember which should ONLY use at sites you know will not effect you if they get compromised, i do not recommend doing it even for then but if you must then that's your choice... EDIT: DISCLAIMER: To inform you about every website that have been hacked is impossible as there hundreds of sites each day that is compromised, this is just another tool in the toolbox to try stay a little safer, i did some limited test on it that it passed but i can not guarantee the accuracy of it as it only checks against dumps that is made public after the fact so false negative may occurs,if you search with a nick that may be be a chance someone else have then it may also give you false positive..... PS: not sure where to place it so i just placed it here, admins are free to edit this thread and title to make it "sticky" friendly if they need, i have also checked it with a mail i know was compromised recently on a site i occasional used and it confirmed indeed it was so it should be somewhat updated.... RE: Are your online privacy at risk? Find out NOW! - The Real Slim Shady - 07-06-2014 This is dumb. You clearly dont understand what this site is offering. It is not "checking if any website you have signed up for have been victims for the bad guys". Its got 28 databases from specific hacking events in the past. It is checking to see if your email or account name is in THOSE database dumps. It is certainly not "any" website. And there are going to be thousands (estimate) of sites hacked every day that will never show up on that site. Why? because those bad guys didnt share the database. RE: Are your online privacy at risk? Find out NOW! - Spirit - 07-06-2014 @Geoff, it may not be the best website in the world. In fact, I've had buddies who made scripts that search even more database dumps than what they're offering. And not only did it tell you about where your account was compromised, but it gave you the account information, too. This service is personally useless to me, but someone else may find it interesting. Most people who had their accounts compromised on those websites probably didn't ever even know about it. So, yeah, I guess it's kind of useful in a sense, but it's mainly just a "for fun" service in my eyes. Regardless, thank you for the share, @dmaxx. /moved thread to Anonymity RE: Are your online privacy at risk? My issue is not so much with what the website is actually offering, than with the bogus claims the OP is making about what the website is offering. They are 2 different things.
