Hello all,
I've been out of the SE'ing business for a few years now but I'm still eager to know what the best thing you guys have done with Social enginering/Human Manipulation.
Mine would be 3 Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 (I REALLY loved this method, I came up with it myself and it sounded very legit. If you guys want I could share the story)
iPhone 4s back when it just came out.
And a Blue Yeti microphone.
So tell me guys, What is the proudest/Best thing you did when using Social Enginering/Human Manipulation

I've got plenty of interesting stories from when I worked as a close-up magician but those didn't get me much besides extra tips.
My single best SE was gaining physical access to a stores server cabinet which allowed me to completely compromise the point-of-sale systems and install a rogue access point on the stores internal network for future use and further penetration of the corporate internal network(was part of an international organization).

I have never actually really been into social engineering unless it's for a pizza or something. I learn to SE in order to save my ass when I need it and so I can work well under pressure. That being said, my best SE would have to be the one that saved me, and 2 other people, from getting "in trouble". Haha.
EDIT: I forgot to add that I learned to SE in order to help me obtain information, too.

Not my proudest or hardest, but I hacked my school's internet filter by calling the company as my schools administrator saying I'd forgotten my password. They used their backdoor to get in and checked the logs, they said the password had never been changed and sent me on my way. I read the manual and sure enough, the default log in information got me in and plenty of mayhem and high-fives ensued, and a great senior prank was born.
Next step? Reverse engineer the CIPA filter firmware when I can get my hands on it. Since all CIPA filters are internet facing, I'm sure that if I could find the backdoor I'd have a bit of fun with the help of Shodan and the likes.

Yea sure, First of all we were with 3 people.
*Person 1
*Person 2(Me)
*Person 3
We called up *company and explained to support that we were from a LAN-Party organization and were giving away prices from their company. But for some reason the webcams didn't work (I think what we said was something about battery leakage or something but I'm not sure). This was *Person 1 calling being an "employee".
She asked for info but an employee shouldn't give out that sort of info so we tried to be as "professional" as we could.
Now *Person 2(Me) put on some music while she waited for the "manager" to pick up (Person 3).
Worked out well, She believed everything. Person 3 picked up the phone and told support that he's the manager and told everything that was going on with the PiDs (They could be easily found on the back of the product when you went to a store, Quick picture with your phone and you're done)
Got 3 Webcams from said company within 2 weeks.
Super easy.
I don't do this kind of stuff anymore, Get way too addictive and it's illegal. I mostly focus on Human Manipulation now especially body language (eye movement, how someone stands and stuff like that)

LOL that is a very interesting usage
I analyze people's behavior a lot, I mean in my class you can think of me as a Data base
I have all sorts of information about most of them
some of my friends ask for my help& advises
recently a month ago I was sitting in class and I said to a friend of minewho sat next to me, this guy wants to have that girl as a GF ,but he will never even make
it, he said how did you know I said because of his talking...etc Then I said you know that
teacher he said OK ?! I said he wants that girl also, he was WTF and in 2 weeks that teacher
added that girl on a couple of social medias
I just like to have information, it's the most powerful tool
and I don't trust anybody soI must have info on all
