rock/metal? - Inori - 05-28-2014 Onoz! I ran out of material for bass and guitar tabs.. So, Anyone have any ideas? (I used to play a lot of Metric, MGMT and Nirvana. Avenged Sevenfold-ish stuff is good for tabs, too) RE: rock/metal? - Dieonisis - 06-09-2014 When i used to play guitar the most of my bands that i used to play allot was: -Slipknot -Arctic monkeys -Bloc party -Disturbed -Jamie T -The Killers If i was in a really heavy mood: -Asking Alexandria -Of Mice and Men -Memphis may fire -Suicide silence -Issues (The Heavy ones are pretty technical) If i do remember more bands, I will post more if you want ![]() -Die RE: rock/metal? - speed733 - 06-11-2014 On bass i suggest hysteria from muse.... Its fucking impossible Nirvana - territorial pissings is an easy one also love buzz by Nirvana is really fun to play on bass Ohh and Needle in the hay by Elliott Smith is easy and really fun on guitar RE: rock/metal? - aussied0wnund3r - 06-22-2014 Dance Gavin Dance - soooo good <3 Asking alexandria - they're ok Billy Talent - "Red flag" is a pretty good song RE: rock/metal? - 1llusion - 06-24-2014 Not exactly rock/metal. But it is derived from one, kind of. Anyway, why not learn Nothing Else Matters by Metallica? For solo bass of course! (06-11-2014, 07:42 PM)speed733 Wrote: On bass i suggest hysteria from muse.... Its fucking impossible You just made my goal to learn this! Looking at the tabs, doesn't seem so complicated on the melody side, but rather kinda fast
RE: rock/metal? - YoloViking - 06-26-2014 If you want to lose your mind, try some Dragonforce music ^_^ After, you can try : Nightwish Europe (old group) Iron Maiden I love them ! Try the game "rocksmith", it's pretty cool too
RE: rock/metal? - Isaac - 06-26-2014 You could try tabs from : Disturbed Soundgraden Blink 182 (Not really metal but still, try it anyway) Matallica Foo Fighters (Again, not metal but It's still good music) These are, at least the only metal bands I listen to. RE: rock/metal? - mmflame - 08-10-2014 try gojira - gift of guilt awesome RE: rock/metal? - removableuser - 08-14-2014 You should get a little more in depth in which you want someone to give you suggestions for. Being a music snob, it's hard to help you when you biased this off of the basic terms of: Rock / Metal.
