DarkComet Help Please - twohigh - 03-19-2013
I've seen this question asked when I search for why I was having this problem but no answers, anways I installed DarkComet and when I download server that I made on my pc it works fine no problems but when i send it to people I get nothing I even tested on my own vps and changed things up still nothing ....can someone please help me where I went wrong I just dont get it and i have been fighting with this for a few days trying to figure it out before I asked for help thanks in advance!

It looks like you have some connection issue. Can you give some more information about your setup. Do you crypt it? is dyndns/no-ip updating your WAN ip adresse?have you tied to run it with no crypting?

Well come to find out I got it running on vps but on my own personal computer I run internet off free wifi....anyways it shows ports are worward on the program everything is green but i cant do a port scan from a website because I guess the block it cause it always errors out ...but I do have the same setting for both vps and my pc and one works which is vps not my personal pc I will upload screen shot...thnks

I'm sorry bro but you are wrong...I have it running right now with almost 1k bot spread in about 1 week..you just have to use the no-ip client and not the programs client....See my problem is that I get free wifi throughout my city, well my problem is I run on a static ip address so how would I find out the ip address to the router?? it seems they did this to keep from getting hacked but it would be amazing if someone can help me...

I'm getting the same thing here. Listening to the port in Darkcomet, they are up on canyouseeme, my no-ip is running fine and I have the client. And I know for sure my ports are forwarded. So unless gulgster is right, I don't know why this is happening. I had the same version of Darkcomet up and smoothly running on my old PC so if any help is given that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm consider myself a noob cause there is so much for one to learn on a computer but I do consider myself to have a great amount of knowledge in computers....I know the ipconfig/all and all that for router ip.....I did it and page 404 not found so they stoped this....please help people

Have you checked if your Port is opened (Which you assigned to your server while setting it up)?
