Its the same thing. Except, that Core 2 Duo is how Intel named its dual core processors =)

I have it and I love it.
Specs:
=>AMD quad-core Processor A8-3500M (its not a CPU, its APU =P) with turbo core technology up to 2.40GHZ
=>AMD Radeon HD 6740G2, 1gb dedicated VRAM - its dual graphic card
=>17,3" HD+LED LCD
=> 8gb DDR3 memory
=> 750gb HDD

You can probably play it on the lowest graphics settings, but even then it might lag a bit.
