Ever got a ticket before? - Shebang - 08-15-2014
Posting this since I just got my first one. Parking ticket, parked on the wrong side of the street after 11pm. $35, so not bad. What about you?

Just recently got my first one. Immensely pissed off because the cop lied his fucking ass off, nor was the ticket needed in the first place (speeding).
If his lying makes me have to take some driving class or get license suspended I might fucking go insane in the court room.

Leaving my college parking lot, I was going down the lanes when someone backed into my car, leaving a deep scratch on the fender and knocking the license plate off. It wasn't anything remotely big, but I'm still waiting on my insurance to settle it in court.

That sucks that you have to go to court. I have nothing to argue, so I just need to go to the parking offices tomorrow without alerting my parents

That sucks. I was rear-ended in a parking lot and ended up settling out of court as to not mess up insurance, a shallow dent cost (them) $1800 to repair. Ridiculous.
I have had a friend take a right at about 70km/h (~45mph) and roll their car 3 times. Not a fun time for them.

I can't stand cops who have nothing better to do than ruin peoples' days and lie because they know the court will believe them. It brings out my inner murderer.

Holy crap, I hope he was okay. It'd be a miracle if he could walk out of his car from something like that.

She was fine afterwards, went to some convention the next day. She does a lot of cosplaying.
