Like System - Oni - 07-12-2014
Ages ago, a like system was suggested. I never added it, but I am wondering if I should now. I know a lot of people on the forum lurk and whatnot, and would rather not post all the time. Some of you would rather just give people a thumbs up for their post.
Should it be added? Poll above.

I honestly think it would benefit us on being more responsive, or just communicating in general.
Could be very great for debate threads, and SL has somewhat pretty good bit of them.

I think it should, but only to the opening posts of threads.
Rather than calling it a "like", I think there was earlier discussion of calling it "thanking" a post, or like you said, a "thumbs up".

I think that there should be a different rep system, but that counts likes. Reps usually go with trades and just helpful comments but with likes being counted it shows your activeness, your quality of posts, and how much people like you. (forgive me if this doesn't make sense im sorry.)

Yea, people may abuse the system but it may be a good way to promote forums too, as we get great stuff for SP. People may improve their post quality to get likes.
