Can I DNA large (but not heavy) box like golf bag? - dabaoz9 - 11-21-2024 Hi everyone, I bought an expensive golf bag over $700 on Nov 19 and this company did not sent me any email saying they sent the bag out, and today Nov 21 I have received the bag by a local courier company, the delivery manĀ dropped the large brown box (but lightweight) in my porch and took a photo and left. No signature. There's no email from the golf bag retail saying my order has delivered, yet. I think I have a few options here, what's the best? DNA? Thank you!!! RE: Can I DNA large (but not heavy) box like golf bag? - talrodil - 11-21-2024 Sounds like a perfect candidate for DNA. Also do this to blur your home address so in the future reps can't look at your home in google maps. This also helps when they do an investigation. Go to maps.google.com and enter your home address Click on the image of the property to enter Street View In the lower right hand corner of the window, click on "Report a Problem" Click or zoom in/out of the image to select what you want blurred Click on "My Home" under "Request Blurring" Click on the button that certifies you are the owner/occupant and have the authority to request the blurring In the text box, describe what you want blurred Add your email address (required) verify reCAPTCHA (required) RE: Can I DNA large (but not heavy) box like golf bag? - dabaoz9 - 11-22-2024 (11-22-2024, 05:35 PM)Gertzerroz Wrote:(11-22-2024, 05:05 PM)dabaoz9 Wrote:(11-21-2024, 09:10 PM)talrodil Wrote: Sounds like a perfect candidate for DNA.Thanks! Wow never know this! and I just requested to blur on Google Maps, Many thanks!! Another concern is would driver come up to my home and confront? Or just take photo/video to prove the delivery photo he took is indeed the correct address? I know that this is generally not gonna happen but could be higher chance for a smaller local courier, since they care more than UPS/FedEx etc... If they have a photo of your house with the parcel, it's gonna be a bitch to argue. Then it'll be a case of package stolen, which may require a police report and more investigation. Yeah this is what I worried. and my home is kind of easy to distinguish without the blur because I have a red front door. Now I'm waiting Google Map to blur my request tonight, and if they yet to do, I think my best bet is to confirm the photo is my home and playing innocent? Typically when i've confirmed the photo is of my home they will assume it's stolen which has a high chance of them asking for a PR. I'm curious what others think the best option is here for you. |
