MEB is the answer.

DNA ist the answer. .

RE: Steam Deck SE - ahmedGYA - 05-23-2024

Let us know how it goes. I have seen a lot of people go for MEB.

RE: Steam Deck SE - zerkhos - 05-24-2024

here is their answer after i requested a refund for PEB:
"We will open an investigation on our end and update you soon. It may take up to five days for us to complete our initial investigation, after which we'll look at sending a new shipment if we need to."

if they refund me i'm good and if they send another one i will switch them out and send back the PEB one

Hope that they will not disappear in the meantime. Recently they like to use the strategy of ghosting, they will write you that they are doing an investigation and then they just disappear without writing you back anything. Remember that they have a 14 day return time frame. If you don't get a refund after 4-5 days or any message from them, you could think that not everything is right. My friend been in this situation and eventually had to return the Steam deck.

Thanks, that's good to know so if all fail you return it just before the end of the return period saying "lmao i found it" ?
I mean even if it's past the return period if it happened to a normal customer i don't think they would give up the refund claim

As far as I know, big companies look at the returning time window. So when it expires, it would be hard or nearly impossible to do it.

here is their answer, that was quick :
Quote:Since your original package appears to be lost or stolen, we will need you to provide us with another address that will enable the carrier to perform a more secure delivery.

If you’re unable to provide a secure address, we recommend contacting the carrier to identify secure carrier locations where your package can be delivered and held for pickup. Note: Options may vary depending on the carrier and your location.

Without a secure address, we will need to issue a refund for your purchase instead of sending a replacement.

Please respond once you’ve identified a more secure address.

since i'm on good terms with my neighboor i will just change the address to his and then proceed to switch the decks and ask for a refund

why would you not just ask for the refund initially? rather than go through the hassle of the replacement and then returning it?
