PayPal Chargeback LIT, FTID? - 14potted - 05-22-2024

Currently planning on doing a €2,6k Dior refund.

PayPal account is relatively fresh. A month old but about €1k in trans.

Would a PayPal chargeback — where I assume Dior doesn’t respond, be better with FTID considering it’ll say “Delivered” and thus easier for PayPal to side with me as my return has been delivered? Or, would a  LIT scan simply be enough to get a successful CB?

Hi,
Is Dior don’t respond I think you’ll have a high chance , I tried Sephora ftid through PayPal and argued that tracking said delivered but after 1.5months they rejected

Did Sephora respond? Or was it PayPal that eventually rejected the refund?

paypal will work best with methods where your parcel is delivered and not lost, as then they shift the blame to the store, otherwise, they will have to have a connection with the delivery service, in my case, it was lit that often ended in failure

How are people doing FTID now? I'm new still learning the lingo, research tells me it's fake tracking I'd how does that even work? Or is that just saying the item was in the parcel?

By "Fake" it actually means to edit the label so it never arrives at the original destination point.

Relatively easy refund, FTID.
