Need advice - InternetRockStar - 11-15-2023

So I have a PayPal account that I have used a fake ID on

I made some small transactions and the account is aged well

But I want to do a big PP claim on it a few thousand on a store that does not respond to chargebacks.

I'm wondering if I could get fucked with the claim and PayPal holds my money/ closes the account

I'm not too familiar with PayPal's policies here

don't do it. all the money will be taken on hold and will be released after proper validation

What do you mean proper validation?

I tried to load the account a while ago and the account got put on hold I was able to verify it and now the account is good to go haven't had any problems with it since I haven't made any claims on there at all the only real problem is the transactions are quite small

I'm going to be going from a couple bucks to a few thousand

Might be risky, as they could hold the money. But in the UK at least paypal usually release the funds after a certain amount of days if the account is closed. There policy could've changed though.

If I pay using PayPal and fund by card can they still hold the money?

Do you have any advice here?

I have seen people going crazy on Paypal claims like two or three in a month and they have barely any transactions but I've always had shitty experiences with PayPal

Do paypal credit instead. Use their money not yours.

I'd say you are safe, especially if you pick a company which doesn't respond. Finding one will be the difficult part.

Have you heard of any cases where PayPal holds the money after a claim?

I already know a few companies that don't respond I was planning on balling out and then just closing the account after

After a claim? I haven't.
I remember that Paypal sometimes freezes money if they detect a sudden change of behaviour. Like in your case, where you go from a few bucks to a few thousand. I'm not sure if this was about a brand new account or not... But there also apply rules to this and this money will be automatic released, so if the SE is good it should not be a problem. PP might hold funds for 30days (waiting for reply from other party) and then automatic release.

Yeah this is the only thing I'm worried about I feel like during the claim or right after the claim is finalized they'll hold on to the money and ask me to verify a bunch of shit

What's your situation like? You're in a similar situation you said?
