Help for WIR GPU on AMZ - emmo52 - 09-14-2023
Hey everyone,
I'm planning to attempt a WIR on AMZ Ger in the near future ( around december ). I've been doing some research on the topic and have a few questions about the method. Here's my plan:
I intend to purchase a GPU worth around 1.5k from my legitimate AMZ account.
A friend of mine lives in the same complex but about 300 meters away from my place. He's willing to buy a product with the same weight as the GPU I'll be returning.
Since he doesn't have Amz Prime or an active Amz account, I plan to make purchases from his Amz account to build up a good order history while I gather the funds for the big refund.
My last successful refund was in 2020 for a DNA kit worth 500€ from my legitimate account.
Now, I have a few questions:
When Amz asks for pictures, should I swap the labels on the returned item or use Photoshop to alter them?
The decoy item will have my friend's name on the package. Alternatively, should I order the items with my name on them?
Does it matter if my friend's apartment is very close to mine?
If the package weighs 4kg, how much of a difference is acceptable for the weight of the decoy item?
Will amz try to contact him?
What happens if they deny the refund?

Do not swap any labels, its warehouse error, someone put decoy item inside your box instead of real item

What if the decoy item doesnt fit into the box ?

Just think about it, how someone can put item that is for example 100x100 cm to box that is 80x80cm. Its impossible so u might fail but who knows amazon rep arent smart

yea thats the problem, would be kinda dumb if it doesnt fit in the decoy box xd
and how can i make sure we both get the items on the same day ?
should i start trial for prime on his account so we can get the items on the same day 100%

I think orders dont need to be delivered same day, its warehouse error remember

Makes sense tho, I can't find a tutorial on wir here, only threads with comments about it. Where is mothered when u need him the most ;_;

I believe you are overthinking this.
1. Both items do not have to shipped/delivered the exact same day
2. If you plan on doing WIR on a gpu, make sure the item you are replacing it with is within the same category (Power supply, cooling fans, similar GPU etc)
3. Whatever your replacing the gpu with has to be of similar weight. Example, the gpu including its manufacturer packaging is 8.5LB and your replacment is 8.46LBS
4. obviously don't replace it with something that's twice the size of your gpu box

Guys can WIR work with iphone 15 pro max? Like u can buy cheap android phone like100$ and it will weight also about 200g
