SE budget laptop for a total newbie -- I ordered - 2epoging - 06-28-2023
I currently have a hp envyx360, really like it but my brother accidentally broke it and he can't buy me a new one.
I'm looking to SE a laptop, don't need anything fancy, I just use it for school, so like, light and small like 13 ish or so is fine, I don't game and just use standard windows etc
Assuming I don't have any aged accounts, and I'm in the Netherlands, what should I try? Which store, which technique, what pricing?
(if anyone can recommend me a laptop that's cool as well, I get kinda lost in the whirl of options and I don't have any knowledge on laptops)

You could order a laptop identical to the one you currently have, and claim it arrived broken. If you're asked to return it, you send back the broken one.

That would be a good one! But unfortunately the specific model isn't available anymore. It's the HP envy x360 13-ay000nd1
Would they notice if I orderrded the hp envyx360 13-bf2..... Version and sent mine back?
It's heavily broken though, cracked screen and unhinged turning point, inside is damage from spilled coke zero...😅

Does it matter if it's fully amazon sold and sent or not? What works best?

Are otp easy to get around? I'd never even heard of them prior to this site so I don't know if they do them here.
Anyways say u wanna play safe. But also get a good hit and want to make the most of this se and account.
What regio of price can I realistically go for that has a decent succes rate?
Up untill 300? 5-700? Up untill 1000?
ETA: if there's an easier company to do laptop on please let me know as well, I just figured Amazon would be a good way since I have the account, but I'm totally open for other ideas

I believe WIR has a higher success rate for Amazon, but you'd still have to pay some money for the wrong item.
