SE on "Mr Porter" - Sinaaaay - 05-10-2023

Hi everyone, Im planning to SE Mr Porter, a luxury retailer because I’m looking for some clothes.
I’m going to buy 2 items for an amount of ~600€.
Is the DNA a good option ? I’m living in a huge building so maybe I can just wait for the call, take the parcel and fake sign it.
Is anyone have some intel about their CS ?

So ordered and received it yesterday, I tried DNA but apparently I asked for no signature delivery ( I think I wasn’t really aware).
Even with that DHL asked me for a signature and I fake signed it, so do you think it’s still possible to get refunded ? they told me that they started an investigation so maybe it’s not close…

No chance, I wouldn’t even bother with MR porter they are a nightmare to deal with.

Absolutely.

Given you requested a no-signature delivery and It was In fact (fake) signed, It works to your advantage - someone else signed the consignment. Do note that Mr Porter Is liable for lost shipments.

Yes, they only said that they started the investigation with DHL and that they will keep me informed.
And is the best thing to do is to insist on the presence of a signature which is not mine ?
Maybe I can tell them that I checked the proof of delivery and saw the signature if they are slow.

so little update, they sent me an email which say :

Dear *****,

I follow up on your complaint about the delivery of order ********, I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

I inform you that we have launched all the necessary investigations following your assertion of the non-receipt of your package.

However, DHL has confirmed to us that your package was delivered correctly to your home on May 15, 2023 at **** p.m.

The delivery person managed to reach you by phone at ******** when your products were delivered.

I regret to inform you that we are unable to respond favorably to your request.

Please excuse me for this inconvenience.

what can I do know ? maybe ask for a proof of delivery ? something which certify that I took the parcel ?

They're missing the point.

You're disputing the signature on the consignment (which you faked), and not their GPS/tracking confirmation to your address. Did you pursue the signature mismatch?

You're disputing the signature on the consignment (which you faked), and not their GPS/tracking confirmation to your address. Did you pursue the signature mismatch?

they didn't mentionned the presence of a signature, it's weird but when I called I just explained to the rep that I didn't received it and that when the deliveryman called me, he wasn't here.
