Abercrombie DNA fail help - BigDig101 - 03-28-2023 Hello guys, I order about 600 dollar worth of clothes from Abercrombie. They left the big box package outside my house, unattended, and took a picture. Perfect DNA material, I thought... So basically I attempted a DNA They opened an investigation and hit me with this. Word by word: "Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your claim. After careful review, we have confirmed that the package you contacted us about, which was delivered on Tuesday, Mar 7 was indeed delivered to the correct address listed on order. As a result, we cannot move forward with your request for a replacement or a refund. If you feel the package was stolen, we’d recommend working with the local authorities to report the theft." Then I replied by basically telling them, I did not receive anything and they left the package unattended in front of my door. Which then they replied: "Thank you for reaching back out to us. I have enclosed the photo proof of delivery as well as a capture from Google maps. We can not be held responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after they have been delivered to the proper address. Thank you for being the best part of Abercrombie & Fitch and have a great day!" I pushed a little harder, blaming them for leaving the package and they again said: " I am sorry but we will not be able to assist you in processing a refund. Once a package has been delivered, we can not assist. If you feel there is a problem with this feel free to contact your local authorities. Thank you for shopping with Abercrombie & Fitch." Any tips on how to proceed with this? Thanks! I believe they're. I've hit A&F last year, around novembre-december and the DNA went perfectly flawlessly through phone. I got Abercrombie in January in France for about 300 and it's probably one of the easiest DNAs I've ever had. That said, I don't think the amount of an order over 500 is responsible for them not being responsible for the good.(03-28-2023, 11:59 AM)mothered Wrote:(03-28-2023, 11:58 AM)Rave0x Wrote: ^ Is that clearly stated In their policy? Try to chat with them by phone, chat, Twitter too.... Ask for an escalation of your situation to a higher team. Ask them for proof of signature saying that the gps coordinates say nothing when it comes to handing over the package in person. However, I would ask for clarification on the DNA and value of the package. Why do companies set limits in their refunds for certain amounts and not others, for what reasons? The amount of the order is not supposed to influence the laws that govern these packages. I verified the picture of the package was my front door because it had the half front of my car, my house number, and my unique front door in the picture. Would that be the cause of failing the DNA?
