RISK COMPLAINT - bluebeam - 03-22-2023 Hi, I made an RF for a playseat last summer on the alternate.de DNA website and it worked, but it turns out that in the meantime I received 6 emails from alternate saying that after their investigation they learned that I had received my package and asking me to refund the item. I ignored these emails and now I have just received another one where they ask me the same thing and threaten to take me to court if I don't refund them. This refund is over 6 months old and they are still sending me emails... I doubt they can go to court for 200€ but I'd like some advice. @mothered RE: RISK COMPLAINT - Defeat - 03-22-2023 You would be surprised the data these companies have been collecting over COVID. I personally wouldn't say it's worth ignoring or even stressing, but I'd take it a little seriously. RE: RISK COMPLAINT - bluebeam - 03-22-2023 The problem is that I don't know if I should continue to ignore them or if not, I thought of sending an email playing the legitimate stunned customer and asking them to stop harassing, threatening and falsely accusing me. They sent me their bank details. And I quote "If not, we will have recourse to the legal service. Thank you for your reply and have a nice day." We ask you to make a refund to this account: RIB If not, we will have recourse to the legal service. Thank you for your reply and have a nice day Best wishes, They had sent me a proof of delivery from UPS saying that after investigation I had indeed received my package asking me repeatedly to refund them. How was the package received/accepted? Also, what did the proof of delivery entail? I remember them telling me and I quote: An investigation will be made and we will refund your order. Just be patient. Then they refunded me BEFORE they started the investigation. The proof of delivery is a pdf from UPS with my delivery address written on it along with the package info: weight, name, sender... There is also written at the end received by NAME, FIRST NAME and phone number that's all. In short, no concrete proof of delivery. Anyone could received the package, if they dont have your real signature there they can't prove that they deliver the package to you I think... |
