Versace Direct - kyungchul - 03-07-2023 Howdy folks! Used the search function, but haven't seen any definitive vouches one way or another, so wanted to reach out here before placing an order just to see if anyone had any firsthand experiences to share. I am looking to potentially SE an order with Versace directly through their website/online shop, as they have inventory there that other major retailers do not. (I know Blooms/Saks/Nords/Neiman all have various stock of this designer, but the items I am interested in are not sold by any of them.) Their Terms of Service/FAQ/website do not appear to mention anything indicating they are not liable for lost/stolen packages - and their TOS are very thorough and detailed, so I would think they would definitely spell that out if it was the case. (I have posted the portion of their TOS that mentions delivery/failure to receive items below, in case anyone wants to read them.) In one portion they domention that it is up to the buyer to inspect the package at time of delivery to ensure it isn't damaged/incorrect, but also states if the problem isn't discovered until after delivery, you can follow the return policy. They state they use FedEx for US orders, and do not indicate if a signature is needed one way or another - there is no mention at all about signatures. I was hoping to check here and see if anyone has attempted to DNA/PEB them in the past, and what the outcome was/order amount was if so. I will likely attempt it regardless if I don't hear anything here, but I would hate to waste my time if they are a major hassle/not doable. I have never seen a vouch for them before anywhere, and you'd think larger/well-known designers would be at least semi-frequent hits amongst SE'rs, so I'm curious if there is a reason why, or if they just aren't a common target. Thanks in advance! Without knowing how difficult they are to deal with/what their refund policy really looks like, I'm not sure how many items/how high of order value I would want to go/should attempt. Given the nature of the shop, their items all tend to be in the high dollar value range individually, which could mean that a higher overall order total wouldn't be too hard to SE, but having never seen any vouches, I simply don't know. I would, at minimum, be looking to obtain a jewelry item, priced in the $700 range. This item comes in a rather heavy leather display box by default, so I imagine that it would a noticeable enough weight if trying to claim PEB that I would lean more towards DNA. (I don't know their packing practices, but given it's a designer label and authenticity is a factor with those shops, I would think trying to claim the jewelry item wasn't in the display box wouldn't go very far, but again, I don't know.) If I went beyond that one item, I would be looking at things like: other jewelry pieces in the $450-950 range, or shoes - heavy, heels or boots - in the $1,500-$1,700 range. Potentially a knit sweater around $1,300. Given that these are all very pricy items, I don't know how good of luck I would have with DNA for multiple items/anything adding up to that high of total order value, but at minimum I would like to achieve the single $700~ jewelry item. GOOD LUCK ! please go for DNA when you can(03-07-2023, 11:17 AM)mothered Wrote:Quote:I am looking to potentially SE an order with Versace directly through their website/online shopWhat're the Item descriptions? EDIT : try to create a validation as if it was you are an authentic buyer by for example ordering two products on separate days receive the first item then the day after DNA the item you want . you know this kind of stuff to not seem so susy . You're probably right - this is a higher overall cost than items I typically refund, but I'm likely overthinking it. These items are not obtainable via other refundable sites, so would be my first priority to refund by ordering direct:
I would also want to refund these two items, but they can also be ordered via Nordstrom, so may be better off trying there:
Thank you! (I apologize if this is not quite what you meant by item description, this is all that was available.) Ha, agreed - I would never pay this much for a pair of shoes out of pocket, where's the fun in that? Correct, this pair specifically would have to be through Versace directly, given they are not carried elsewhere. As referenced from their TOS in my OP, Versace doesn't specifically state that they do not accept liability for lost/stolen packages, so given that, it seems to me like DNA could be doable, assuming their customer service isn't terrible/hard to get in touch with.
